  1. Pcopy 2.0 had some flaws.  Therefore there is Pcopy 2.01

  3. The differences are:

  5. The audio.device is not to be accessed in the standard way, as
  6. I read recently in a publication of Commodore.  Pcopy used the
  7. standard method and sometimes the audio.device died.  Pcopy
  8. waited for an answer.. forever...
  9.  
  10. The algorithms of the size of the requester and its gadgets
  11. used the default font instead of the font of the screen on
  12. which Pcopy executes.  The requesters now are perhaps a little
  13. nicer when other fonts are used.

  15. The salve routine has been made a little more efficient without
  16. changing its functionality.  This results into a quicker login
  17. of non-Dos disks and a slighty shorter track salvage.
  18. For that matter, the salve routine of TrackSalve is far
  19. superior (also on this disk).
  20. Pcopy 3.0 (if ever released) will be provided with these
  21. better routines.

  23. Then it is recommended to install TrackSalve when Pcopy is
  24. used on a system with more than two drives.  In the
  25. Trackdisk.device is a nasty bug which can interfere with
  26. Pcopy.  Nevertheless pcopy will deliver good copies.
